The Hermitage Greenfield Prize
The $35,000 Greenfield Prize commission is awarded annually by the Hermitage Artist Retreat in Englewood, Florida. The winner of the prize receives a 6-week residency at the Hermitage to work in their craft in hope that a great work of art will result. The prize is for future work, not for past accomplishment. It is an optimistic investment in the potential and power of one creative voice to move millions. The prize category rotates among music, theater, visual art and 'wild card' (judges' choice). Each of the Hermitage Greenfield Prize Finalists receive a $1,000 prize and a Hermitage Residency.
